Φωτογραφία για Internet Vs. Real Life
Though the personal connection the internet provides may be anything less than real, there is no doubt it has opened more business opportunities than there have ever been. Think about all the social media friends, all the tweets, all the likes, all the professional contacts on Linkedin, all the blogs and business sites.

All these and more, made available through the internet, may not amount to much, but they have certainly made a huge impact on the way we live and do business. We’ve been able to meet and interact with people across the globe which couldn’t have been possible by any other means. So, even though many of us actually see the internet to be nothing more than blurring lines, it doesn’t change the fact that we are now living in a digital world.

Considering how much the internet influences our lives today, it is very easy to notice that the disparity between the “real world” and the “online world” is becoming less obvious. Without social media and the web, there isn’t much anyone can achieve in business in this new millennium. Nowadays, most companies in various industries get their referrals majorly from the internet. Thus, digital presence has now become commonplace and a flagship without which no business can truly thrive.

Also virtual reality (gaming) has made possible via the internet has made it possible for many people to do things they would never be able to do in real life. A good example is pachinko 3 slot at vogueplay.com.

However, nothing can replace the real thing when it comes to strengthening relationships, whether business or personal. As much as the internet is a social vehicle, it can never be as powerful as a face-to-face conversation.

Bringing it down to a personal level, most people easily look down on themselves when they start comparing their lives to the seemingly “perfect” lives of many people online. Due to their inability to measure up to the “online lives” of these individuals, they tend to relapse into depression.

Think about it; everybody wants to look super incredible and desirable when viewed on the internet. We want to be envied and appreciated. So with the help of the internet, we post all kinds of exciting stuffs to make our lives look like a dream to our social media friends and followers. Of course, we often do this in our best moments, not when we are feeling terrible. But in reality, our lives are always less than perfect!

Most of us are indebted to the online world because the relationship opportunity it provides. Many have even testified to becoming best friends with people outside their country without even meeting them. But this doesn’t still dismiss the fact that many people have falsified their identity online to make their relationship with others less than a reality. They try to create and lead a life that’s different from their true personality and this is where the blurring lines come in.

Experience has shown that most of the stuffs we see on many websites and social media are rarely the realistic version of what’s actually happening in real life. So, it is possible that the same happy looking couples you envy so much on Facebook still fight in real life over small things like what TV show to watch. It is possible to be “loving and self-crushing” on your posts, and yet all you want to do is “sleep” in real life. It is possible the country boys you see around are not looking anywhere close to those pictures you see online. What about the slay queens with their perfect make ups and stunning selfies? Do they really look that way in reality? You should know better!

So, you see; the real danger comes when you try to replace your real life with the internet. But notwithstanding, the internet continues to play an important role in our lives, howbeit, still far from reality in many ways.
