Μυστικές συνομιλίες Χεζμπολάχ - Τεχεράνης για το θέμα της Συρίας

Η ενημερωτική ιστοσελίδα AlRai του Κουβέιτ δημοσιεύει ότι τον Μάρτιο πραγματοποιήθηκε μυστική συνάντηση του αρχηγού της Χεζμπολάχ Hassan Nasrallah με τον θρησκευτικό ηγέτη του Ιράν Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, με θέμα συζήτησης τις εξελίξεις στην Συρία. Σύμφωνα με πηγές του Al Rai οι δύο άνδρες συμφώνησαν ότι πρέπει να υποστηρίξουν το καθεστώς Άσαντ ώστε ο Σύρος ηγέτης να παραμείνει στην εξουσία. Άλλη πηγή αναφέρει ότι HassanNasrallahκαι Ayatollah Ali Khamenei συμφώνησαν ότι ο πόλεμος με το Ισραήλ είναι θέμα χρόνου και πως μόνο τυχαίες δεν ήταν οι συναντήσεις του προέδρου των ΗΠΑ Ομπάμα με τον πρωθυπουργό του Ισραήλ Νετανιάχου καθώς και το Βασιλιά της Ιορδανίας Αμπντάλα.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah held a secret visit to Iran in mid-March and met with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Kuwaiti news website Al Rai reported Sunday

. Nasrallah has been largely confined to bunkers and secret safe houses since Hezbollah's war with Israel in 2006. According to the report, Nasrallah also met with several high-ranking Iranian officials, including senior military officers, and discussed the recent developments in the Middle East, including the situation in Syria, strengthening Hezbollah's ties with Iran and the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites. The report quoted sources privy to the meetings as saying that both Hezbollah and Iran believe that they must give Syrian President Bashar al-Assad their full support in his attempt to crush the uprising that has been waged against him since March 2011, as both believe "the Syrian opposition is a pawn in the hands of the West." Another source was quoted as saying that both believe that U.S. President Barack Obama's recent meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and King Abdullah II of Jordan "leave no doubt that a future war with Israel is inevitable".
